You can apply for an Isle of Man Innovator visa if:

You want to establish or run a business in the Isle of Man

You fulfill the other eligibility requirements

The Department for Enterprise of the Isle of Man Government has endorsed your business or business idea.

You need to have a minimum of £50,000 in investment funds if you are willing to establish a new business. You don’t need funds in the case if your business is already set up and has been endorsed for an earlier visa.

The following are the Innovator visa requirements:

Before applying, you will be required to have your business or business idea evaluated by the Department for Enterprise.

They will give an endorsement letter if finding your business variable.

You are also required to fulfill the following requirements:

Fulfill the English language requirements

Be a minimum of 18 years

Can provide that you have sufficient personal savings to keep yourself when you are in the Isle of Man

Required documents for the Isle of Man Innovator visa:

When applying, you will be required to give a Letter of Endorsement, which is issued by the Department for Enterprise of the Isle of Man Government.

You also need to give:

A current passport or any valid travel identification

Bank statements that show that you have had a minimum of £945 in your savings for 90 consecutive days before you apply (this proof shows that you can keep yourself, and it must be separate from the money from our investment fund).

Evidence that you fulfill the English language requirements

Proof of your investment funds (if you are planning to establish a new business) 

Your tuberculosis test results if you are from a country where this test is required

A blank page in your passport for your visa

You will need to give a certified translation of any documents that are in any other language than English.

Entry clearance:

If you are applying for entry clearance for an Innovator visa, then you have to apply online by means of the UK Visas and Immigration website.

You must have your fingerprints and photographs taken at a visa application centre (to have a biometric residence permit) as part of your application.

You don’t need to apply for a biometric residence permit because the Isle of Man doesn’t issue these. While applying, you have to use postcode SW1H0AX  in the BRP collection section of UKVI’s website.
