CPEng Australia Online Application Process
There is a tremendous amount of zeal among engineering all over the world to become a CPEng Australia. It is because this land provides countless growth opportunities to such engineers along with global recognition.
CPEng
Australia online application process:
1. Go
through the Chartered Self Assessment, giving a competency rating against the
Stage 2 Competencies.
2. Complete
the Industry Review to the level of Functional or Above. The Industry Review
includes giving a short statement of the evidence items that you may need to
show your Chartered competence for each of the Stage 2 Competencies. These
statements then need confirmation from a suitable Industry Reviewer. Keep in
mind that no actual proof documents have to be submitted at this stage in the
process.
3. Enrol
and give your payment, resume, and CPD Log. You have to confirm the areas of
practice you are looking for Chartered and also link your completed Industry
Review to your application at this time.
4. The
assessors will then reach you for an Evidence Discussion (usually within a
period of 3 weeks of your enrollment). This discussion is your chance to seek
clarification and ask questions before you give your proof documents for
assessment. The assessors will have reviewed your Industry Review results and
may suggest alternative proof be submitted from that suggested and will also
discuss the Areas of practice you choose. After the completion of the
discussion, you need to upload your evidence documents. Hire a CPEng Australia
expert to know more about Chartered Evidence. Sometimes, the assessors may find
that an Evidence Discussion is not required and, instead of this, they will
simply offer comments to this effect and request your upload as per your
Industry Review.
5. A
Professional Interview will be fixed after the review and assessment of your
evidence document is complete and satisfactory. This interview will take nearly
1 hour and will involve a wide discussion of the evidence given through your
application. A presentation may be necessary and confirmed when arrangements
are made. The interview will happen via Skype or similar video-conference
arrangements and will be with a minimum of one Assessor (it may include
external Industry panelists).
6. Chartered:
after the interview, you will get a mail notification, which will confirm your
Chartered award and Areas of Practice. An official Certificate will come in the
mail soon after.
Chartered
Evidence:
Evidence can be a combination of minutes,
emails, drawings, plans, reports, charts, risk assessments, presentations, written
narratives, or other necessary documents that show your engineer working and
that prove that you take up the requirements of the Chartered Competencies for
your Occupational Category and Areas of Practice.
Remember that your Chartered Evidence will
also include your resume and Continuing Professional Development Log.
We also advise you to hire a CPEng
Australia specialist so that you know have a clear of the Engineers Australia
competencies for Chartership and prepare yourself according to
that.
