Isle of Man innovator visa Eligibility criteria  :

Before you send your application for consideration, you must have your business or business idea that is assessed by the Department for Enterprise.

They will give an endorsement letter if finding your business viable.

You are also required to:

·        Be at least 18 years old

·        Satisfy the English language requirements

·        Be able to give proof that you have sufficient personal savings to keep yourself when you are in the Isle of Man

You must read the specific needs for the Innovator visa in the Isle of Man immigration Rules before preparing your application.

English knowledge:

You may be required to prove your English language competency when you apply.

You can provide proof of English language knowledge either by:

·        Attaining an academic qualification taught to you in English and is accredited by UK NARIC as being equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or Ph.D.

·        Passing an accredited English language test with a minimum of CEFR level B2 in writing, reading, listening, and speaking

You are not required to prove your English language knowledge if you have already given proof to be level B2 or above in an earlier successful application.

Required document for the Isle of Man Innovator Visa:

When applying, you have to give a Letter of Endorsement, which is issued by the Department for Enterprise of the Isle of Man Government.

You also have to provide:

·        A current passport or valid travel identification

·        Bank statements giving proof that you have had a minimum of £945 in savings in your bank account for 90 consecutive days before applying (this is the proof showing that you can keep yourself. Moreover, this amount must be separate from the money from your investment fund)

·        Evidence that you fulfill the English language requirements

·        Proof of your investment funds (if you are planning to set up a new business)

·        Your tuberculosis test results if coming from a country where this test is mandatory

You are also required to provide a blank page in your passport for your visa.

You are also required to give a certified translation of any documents that are not in English.

You also have to provide extra documents, which is dependent on your circumstances.
