APEGS Canada Reinstatement Professional Member
APEGS Canada reinstatement professional member process applies to a Professional Engineer, Professional Geoscientist, Engineering Licensee or Geoscience Licensee who were former APEGS members.
Reinstatement process:A. If
applying for reinstatement in the same year that your APEGS Canada
membership has ended, you are not required to submit a new application. If you
resigned your membership before it expired, you don’t need to pay a
reinstatement fee. If your membership ended because you don’t pay your annual
registration fees by the due date (January 31st of the year), pay a
reinstatement fee, as well as the full annual registration fees to reinstate
your membership.
Send a mail using the official APEGS Canada
Contact Us page and indicate that you want to reinstate your membership.
An invoice will be posted to your online
profile for yearly registration fees.
When you have paid the annual registration
fees, you will get a certificate in the mail and an electronic image of your
seal by mail. If ordered a physical stamp, it will be delivered within a few
months (it may take slightly longer if you are outside of Canada).
After having paid your annual fees, you can
use the appropriate title.
The certificate may take several months to
reach you. You don’t need your certificate to start using one of the protected
titles.
B. If
your registration ended in a previous year, but less than two years ago, apply
for reinstatement and pay any applicable fees. Your qualifications will not be
assessed again.
