The following are the required documents you need to submit when applying for the Stage 2 Competency Standard assessment: 

·        Engineering Competency Claims (ECCs)

·        An up-to-date resume

·        Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Record

·        Engineering Experience Record (EER)

Engineering Competency Claims (ECCs):

Engineering Competency Claims (ECC) needs you to write about your core competencies and work experience. Your being in the technological field of engineering is reflected by means of Engineering Competency Claims. The number of competency claims you need to submit is dependent on the pathway type you have chosen. For instance, you will be required to submit six engineering competency claims if choosing the ECR pathways.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Record:

Your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record will allow you to show your skills and knowledge in your engineering field. This document is an important part of the National Engineering Registration (NER) application. 

You need to know how many CPD hours you have attained in the past three years. It contains the details on your commitment towards the engineering product, technological efficiency and standards you show in the workplace.

Engineering Experience Record (EER):

The EER document includes all your work experience records. You need to mention the employer’s name under which you worked, and you must mention the responsibilities and roles you fulfilled in your employment period. The word limit for Engineering Experience Record (ERR) is nearly 700 words.

Most updated resume:

You have to upload the latest resume/CV for your Stage 2 Competency Standard assessment application. For that, you need to include your latest work experience history and the one you are involved in currently. You shouldn’t make it complicated. In fact, keep your resume simple and precise.
